Meetings Scheduled in Outlook, attribute to the wrong user's activity metrics.

Help!

We have a new issue that just popped up.

Scenerio: a user schedules a meeting with a client in Outlook and it tracks over to HubSpot Sales Hub in the company activity section.

Problem: The activity used to just show up attributed to the person who scheduled the meeting. NOW, it has started attributing the meeting to one of the business development users who may or may not have had any contact with that company.

Issue: When we pull productivity reports, she looks like a hot dog dynamite busy person (I mean, she is, but she's not a machine) and the correctly busy people look like laggards.

Does anyone know what happened?

Background: company opted to move away from HubSpot and ended subscription. go-live on new crm failed. Renewed HubSpot for a year to re-do migration. This all started upon renewal.

A phone call to HubSpot solved the question.

Answer: The contacts were associated with the wrong company. [insert facepalm, such a simple solution with human error.]
