Is it possible to disable the Contact creation of CC recipients on an email?

Hello!

My Inside Sales team receives a large daily volume of email, which become Tickets. However, those sending the emails often include others as an 'FYI,' which results in hundreds of new Contacts being created in the database. Is there a way to disable the automatic creation of Contact records for each of those 'unknown and irrelevant' people?

If it isn't possible, is there a way to include association of the Ticket or Deal to those CC'd, so the record reflects whatever they are involved in? We have hundreds of 'new contacts' added every week that have no Owner and no one can determine how or why they entered the database because they are just the result of a CC.

Hi @KariAlder ,

I do not believe there is an OOTB fix, the only thing I would test would be the Never Log in HubSpot - If you never log the emails of the people who are being sent the emails that you do not want tickets created for, then they shouldn't be created.

Is there no other new option for this problem? It's particularly problematic when the company is larger.

Yeah, that's not really going to help and would actually require even more work (adding them to the Never Log + deleting the created record for hundreds a month). Thanks for the suggestion tho!
