If one contact replies, how to I prevent emails to other contacts in the same company?

Hi,

I have about 20,000 contacts and 5,000 companies. Some companies have 1 or even 0 contacts. Other companies have 8 or even more contacts.

- For companies that have at least one comtact, I want to send a one email sequence to one of the company's contacts

- I also want to send no more than 250 emails per day

- If a contact replies, I do not want other contacts associated with that same company to receive the one email sequence.

Is there a way to set this up? The only way I can think to do it is manual removal of contacts to be scrubbed, from my "master list" each day, prior to adding another 250 of them for the next day's mailout.
