IMAP with Team's Conversations Inbox

For our team, the goal is

- to send an email from the "Conversations" inbox and also have it shown in the "sent" folder of our non-hubspot email connections

- to mark an "Conversations Inbox" email inside HubSpot  as 'read' and also have it marked as 'read' everywhere else outside of hubspot

As I understand, this is made possible by using IMAP.

If I read the documentation right, you can enable IMAP email integration for yourself (personal email in hubspot), but not for the whole team's "Conversation Inbox" eMail. You can only use forwarding from, so there is no exchange with your original email's inbox.

This feature however is the main need for us in HubSpot.

1. @hubspot: Is there a timeframe for when this might be available?

2. Is there a workaround to effectively get IMAP features (eMails marked as 'read' in all inboxes; 'sent' emails in all 'sent' outboxes?
