IMAP authenticates but SMTP doesn't

I am using the same password with different email clients with no problem

Hi @stekosto,

 

Have you confirmed with your email provider that 465 is the proper smtp port when connecting your inbox?

I managed to get it working by following these instructions

I also unchecked "allow plain text  authentication" from SMTP RFC compliance hmail server settings.
