How to disable logging to non-customer/leads?

Looking for a fast one-click way to eliminate adding contacts to the CRM from linked outlook account. Very often our team is working with vendors or internal members where we don't want to create a contact record and log all emails and attachements. I only know how to click through to email settings and add an email address to prevent logging. Is there a better way that I'm missing?
