How to Insert Senders Email into Message Template

Hi everyone, quick question that’s turning into a surprisingly painful one.

We’re building thousands of email templates for about 200 sales reps. Each rep sends emails on behalf of other users, so to make that possible we had to connect everyone’s inboxes to each other—a ridiculous workaround, but here we are.

We’re using Insert > Meeting link > Sender’s Meeting Link to drop in each rep’s scheduler. The problem is that when reps enroll contacts into a sequence, they can choose to send from a colleague’s email address. When they do that, the meeting link still pulls from the person who enrolled the contact, not the person the email is actually coming from.

No problem, I figured I’d solve this with a personalization token instead. I created a custom property called contact_owner_schedule_link to store each owner’s meeting link. But personalization tokens can’t be hyperlinked, so I tried adding a standard link and setting the URL to {{ contact.contact_owner_schedule_link }}.

It worked perfectly for a few sends, then suddenly every template broke, and the link started rendering as something completely different instead of the URL.

Really struggling to understand how to dynamically hyper link a meeting link into an email so we can enroll contacts into a sequence and have the person who the email is coming froms meeting link in the email. Workflows wont work as we have thousands of sequences and there is too many variables, we also have a ton of personalization that needs to happen so its simply not scalable.

I understand that you’re struggling to dynamically insert the correct sender’s meeting link into email templates however, due to personalization tokens not having the functionality to be hyperlinked, you are running into some issues. 

I'd like to tag in some of our Subject Experts to see if they have any other workarounds that you may find help -- Hi @ @andrus @Danielle_J and @FCorbaci Do have any other workarounds that may suffice for @RPopovich's use-case?
