Hi, someone has got in touch with us to say she's not receiving our emails. I've checked and her email address is correct/valid but it's previously hard bounced.
We're on the free plan, so I can't choose to unbounce. If I delete her as a contact and ask her to re-sign up, will her address be unbounced?
Hey @ETourism have you 100% verified that the email is correct? There's no spelling mistakes or additional characters in it? It's quite rare to get a false report for a hard bounce, but maybe @CommunityTeam can help you unbounce them if you have proof it's valid!

When an email hard bounces in HubSpot, even on the Free plan, it’s added to a global suppression list. This helps protect email deliverability not just for your account, but for all HubSpot users. So unfortunately, just deleting and re-adding the contact won’t reset the bounce status.
One thing you can try is asking the person to fill out a new form. If the original bounce happened because of something temporary (like a mail server glitch), sometimes a new form submission can trigger HubSpot to re-check the address. It’s not guaranteed, but worth trying!
On the Free plan, you won’t be able to request manual unbounces, but if you upgrade the HubSpot plan or work with a HubSpot support team, they can help manually clear valid addresses.
Hope this helps!
