Many times the Google Chrome Hubspot Extension gets blocked by Google saying "The extension has been disabled due to too many notifications." I have to many times keep un-blocking it. Also, as a free user, even when I do *not* hit my notification limit, many times the Chrome Extension stops working and I don't get any notifications at all.
I wanted to report this to the HubSpot Community to see if any other folks are having this issue.
If you're using the free version of HubSpot Sales, you can receive 200 free notifications per month.
If this monthly limit is reached, you should still be able to send tracked emails and receive instant notifications, but you will not be able to view your activity feed until your notification count has been reset.
I also wanted to ask some clarifying questions to understand this matter further:
Can you please share a screenshot of the message you are seeing on your end please?
Can you also confirm if you have real-time notifications enabled for the Google Chrome extension? If they are enabled, can you please confirm if you are not seeing them at all (i.e. in your desktop and activity feed) or just not in the activity feed?
Thank you,
Kristen

Right now the issue is I do *not* receive instant notifications regardless of whether or not I reach the limit or not. This is the issue right now. I do have real-time notifications for the Google Chrome extension turned on and I am not seeing the real-time notifications in my desktop feed, correct.

Google Chrome Hubspot Extension
Hi Kristen:
I uninstalled the Outlook plug-in and re-installed it. Un-installed the extenion and re-install it, and now everything is working. However, I feel like I have to do this every few weeks as your product is not so stable at the moment. Thank you for your time.
Today, yet again, without any explanation, the Chrome Hubspot Extension stopped sending me real-time notifications. This is totally unacceptable. I find your product to be completely useless if it doesn't run consistently. I urge your developers to look into this issue.
I cannot see my real-time notifications at all on my desktop. The activity feed pops up but I hit my limit. I get no real-time notifications. It just stopped a few minutes ago. Before that, everything was working perfectly.
I've attached some photos here (shown above). showing the Plugin is *not* blocked by Chrome. I request a resolution to this issue before I become a paid member! Thnak you very much for your help.
I wanted to remind that this community is for our us to collaborate together. I will be happy to offer the next steps on how to troubleshoot this matter from your end, but please note that there are limitations to HubSpot Free accounts.
This extension depends on 3rd party systems to run and as we have no control over a user’s system & browser configuration. There might be many different reasons why the extension isn’t working as expected.
I can, however, confirm, that other users currently aren’t reporting any issues with the software.I’d recommend testing the extension again after clearing cache/cookies & disabling any conflicting browser extensions while keeping the following limitations of the free version in mind:
If the monthly limit is reached, you can send tracked emails and receive real-time notifications, but your activity feed (the second screenshot in your reply) will not show notifications until the count resets on the first calendar day of the next month.
Thank you,
Kristen
