Deal owner wont see mail sent by other user

SOLVE

Hi, so a sales man created a deal and assigned it to me to send an offer to the client. I sent the e mail to the client via hubspot.

The sales man couldnt see that, when he entered his hubspot. Both we could see all the notes, comments, attachements, everything except that i have actually sent the email.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

@VVasileiou3 No, there are only the options shown in the dropdown. If you have teams set up and both the affected and the sending user are on the same team, that would be the best option. Without teams, it's either all emails or just the ones sent by the affected users, there's currently no in between.

For anything else, you would have to submit a request to the product team in the HubSpot Ideas section of the Community.

Hi @VVasileiou3,

First check should be whether the user is looking at a filtered timeline: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/filter-activities-on-a-record-timeline

The second check would be the user permissions: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/user-management/manage-user-permissions

If the users view permission a are set to owned only for sales emails, that would explain why they're not seeing emails by another user.

@VVasileiou3 that depends on how much they're supposed to see, but the first drop down would have to be set to either team only or all. Team only would only work if the emails sent are from someone in the same team as the affected user. If you set it to all emails, the issue will definitely be fixed - but the user can then see all CRM emails.

they suppose to see emails which are related to deals they create. I definitely dont want them to see all mails or even all team's mails.

I only want them to see emails sent to their created deals even if someone else sent it.

Is there a way?
