Hi, I am a sales pro user of Hubspot and I am attempting to create a workflow which does the following : Move the deal to the next step in the pipeline when a reply is received.
Currently, we send out Outbound emails to prospective clients and create deals related to these contacts and emails in our Outbound Pipeline.
Our outbound messages are sent manually via GMail with the Hubspot GMail extension (we have low volume and our outbound emails are tailored to the individuals).
I've built the following workflow, which works if I enroll a contact manually. Therefore I know the trigger is the issue as contacts are not being enrolled automatically.
Would anyone know how to make sure the reply is detected by the workflow? I even tried sending out an email within Hubspot and it still didn't work...
The workflow is published and ON
The email is logged in the deal/contact The contact's lifecycle is set properly.
I might be wrong but I am 99% sure the "replied to email" trigger is for replies to marketing emails and not sales emails, I recommend double-checking the definitions of event triggers.
I am also wondering what it is you are selling and what your overall setup is. Moving deals and having contacts with a lifecycle stage of lead seems off/unusual - but I'm aware I don't have the full context...
