Q: Suggestions on how to manage the HubSpot meetings integration with the calendar when I'm not sure when I will be available from week to week?
Short A: n/a
Longer A:
Here are a few things you may wish to do to help control your calendar.
-1- Set blocked days/times on your Gmail/Outlook calendar. This will prevent ALL calendar integrations from allowing meetings to be booked on those days/times. Unfortunately, it will also block new internal meeting requests. (see Gmail example)
-2- Set HubSpot meetings to only allow meetings to be booked during certain blocks of time. This will prevent MANY potential conflicts if/when calendar integrations are periodically interrupted. Example: If you have regularly scheduled company meetings exclude those days/times from ALL HubSpot meeting links. (see image)
This is what the above work yields when booking from HubSpot. (see image)
This works for all integrations against your calendars (i.e., Outlook AND Gmail).
