If you're doing the same but experiencing a different outcome, I don't think I can help more. You could reach out to HubSpot technical support to further investigate this.

Thanks, Karsten! I really appreciate all your help. This is bizarre.
To confirm one last time, you're doing this in a template that would be used for a 1:1 email sequence correct? And the field type for your Link contact property is single-line text correct?
I have contacted technical support as well. Cheers!
I'm not aware of any options to add a button but you don't have to display a full URL if you don't want to. You can use personalization tokens in links as well.
If your property is called Link, for example, this is how you would add a personlization token into a URL:
The first part is referring to the object (contact), the second to the internal name of the property. The internal name of the property is sometimes different to the label, depending on whether the label has been changed. You can find the internal name of your property by navigating to Settings > Properties, searching for the property and then clicking on </> right next to the name:
Hope this helps!

I'm honestly not sure what's happening. Is this screenshot from the template editor? If yes, then in the URL field, you'd have to add
{{ contact.experiment_link }}
There might be an issue with the value in the "Experiment link" field on the contact record however. On the contact record, I had to remove the http:// for the template to populate the link correctly.
Best regards
