Hi there, Hope this is the right place to ask this. We have all our automated emails BCC to our Hubspot Outgoing address (so that Hubspot logs all our communications with our users - manual and automated).
It has worked great for months. 2 days ago, it broke, and despite the email being correct in our system (the same as Hubspot settings gives me, and the same we've always used), every single one of these BCC emails is now being rejected by Hubspot.
I thought I saw a notification of an issue with this on Hubspot, but that notification has gone away and our emails are still not getting through.
Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
Hi Tiphaine, Yeah the emails are getting through fine. I would just like to log them.
These emails are not being sent using an extension. They're being sent by our server (on AWS). Do you have any troubleshooting steps when there's not an extension? Will DM you now.
Would you mind clarifying further what's happening? Do you get an error message, a bounce? Or is it just that the emails aren't logging in HubSpot, without error message? When you say the emails aren't getting through, are you talking about the logging in HubSpot or that the emails aren't getting through to the recipient?

Hi Tiphaine, We get a mailer daemon error for every automated message and the email is not showing up in user activity on hubspot. We used to have this system working fine.
Screenshot 1 = some of the automated messages that have failed earlier this morning/yesterday Screenshot 2 = what the email says at the top Screenshot 3 = what the emails used to look like, when they came through to hubspot in the past.
So the emails seem to be failing to send full stop... Which makes me think it might be an issue on our side, but we didn't change anything... so I thought it'd be worth letting you know just in case.
I cannot see any screenshots on your reply? You can add them by clicking on the little camera button next to the smiley when you're drafting your response.
Ah sorry, I tried replying by email (as prompted when notified of your reply) but the attachments I added there clearly didn't get through. (no problem - just letting you know what happened)
Ok so first of all it seems that only the bcc send is not working but you recipient should receive it. It looks exactly like the issue HubSpot had a few days ago, I'm wondering if this is related.
If this does not help, could you send me via DM the email adress you're sending the emails from? As well as a specific example with day & time (precising the timezone) when one of those emails has been sent?
