if someone else responds to an email sent through a sequence, and CCs the original person - it doesn’t appear under that original contact feed.
That original person is still enrolled in a sequence.
It would be great if this was automated so that we won't have to reply from an inbox using the BBC, for it to appear it HubSpot, and then automated so that the original person actually gets unenrolled from a sequence, and so that it shows in their activity feed the response by someone else they forwarded the email to.
I did some investigation into this and CCing is currently not a feature of the sequences tool, since sequences are designed to emulate 1:1 conversations and do not have the feature to add/receive information about a CC or even a BCC address. So this would be an expected behavior to not automatically unenroll the contact from the sequence or show the activity of who the contact CC the email to.
That said, I can see how it would be a useful feature to add a CC address so I would like to point you to this idea in our Ideas forum here.
