Yes MAC user here, Yes I know Hubspot cannot connect natively to Apple Mail, but obviuosly I am keen to see how others have creatively made this work. The email client I am using is Apple Mail however it is hosted as a 365 Exchange account. I have tried using Threads to connect but keep getting a Invalid Oauth Token error when conencting the account in Threads. Is the on ly other option to use the BCC hubspot email ... and do I do that by setting up a rule the BCC's hubspot?
Generally, there are three options to manage sales email logging in HubSpot:
Using the Office 365 add-in or Chrome extension
By sending emails directly from the HubSpot CRM
Using the BCC address
Theoretically, yes, you could also look into third-party integrations – I am not aware of any that integrate seamlessly with HubSpot however and provide the full functionalities of the options described above without any hickups.
One option then, yes, would be to set up a rule to automatically BCC the BCC address in all of the outgoing emails in your email client.
Best regards!
