Allow all to edit a Sales Template?

I've created a number of email templates for my team to use, and I'd like to allow team members to edit those documents. However, it seems that the ownership and editing rights are restricted to me, and to modify the template, a teammate would have to create their own copy and edit that.

Is there any way to share ownership/editing rights of a Sale Email template among all or some team members?

@MoxWeber no problem - when any user clicks on the template to edit, there is an option to save as a new template or update the existing:
