What topics do you want to be known for?
Establishing topical relevancy is key to creating excellent, search-worthy content. What topics do people search for that are related to your business? You want to show Google and other search engines that you are an authority in your field, and you can do this by creating lots of high-quality content around a given topic that directly relates to your business.
In the comments below, share one topic that you want to be known for and what you can do to make steps towards it.
I'm shooting for Food and Drink Digital Management, Restaurant Digital Management, Event Digital Marketing, Alcohol Digital Promotions. But I'm just starting to work on my keyword research so let's see if it changes.
You mentioned a tool named Semrush, and I would like to know more about that topic. I don't want to know about them; I want to see the benefit when using them for this particular topic.
I want to be known for GDD website design. I'm currently in the process of building my service page for that. I have topics outlined around that page for my blog posts. Eventually, I will pull things from the service page and the blog topics to create a mega "Everything you need to know about GDD" pillar page and link all my blogs to that. Grow the blog and add to the pillar page. And I also need to create a lead magnet for that page.
I'm just getting started, so I have work ahead of me. I do think it would have all happened anyways as I know the basics of SEO in terms of content, but I feel like it's a lot more structured for me, and as a result, will get me where I want to be faster.
One topic that I want to be known for is 'development masters UK'. To do this, I could optimise my website for search engines by highlighting that keyword more in MSc programmes webpages and conducting a historical optimisation of blog posts to answer prospective' applicants questions about what studying a Masters in Development entails and how my organisation can help them achieve their academic goals.
