SEO goal-setting and reporting

Reporting tells the story of what happened on your website to influence what you're going to do next. This all depends on your goals. Start by setting SMART goals and establishing KPIs for your website.

Once you've determined your goals, work backward.

  • How are you going to get there?
  • What strategies are you going to put in place to achieve your goals?

Share your primary SEO goal and the metrics you're going to track to ensure you're on course to meet it.

Here's an example: "We want to increase organic traffic to X page by X% over the next X months. The metrics we will track are organic traffic, SERP position, and search impressions."

Bonus: Share the strategies you're going to implement to reach that goal.

My primary SEO goal for my website, https://hemth.co, is to increase organic traffic to the homepage by 50% over the next 6 months. The key metrics I will track to ensure I'm on course to meet this goal are organic traffic, SERP position for main keywords, and search impressions. To achieve this goal, I will implement strategies such as conducting thorough keyword research, optimizing the homepage content and meta tags for target keywords, building high-quality backlinks from relevant websites in the Thai property market, and creating engaging, informative blog content that showcases my expertise and attracts potential buyers.

I want to increase organic traffic to my landing page by 20% over the next 2 months. The metrics I will use to track are KPIs, SERP position, and search impressions.

After making those adjustments I will wait at least 3 weeks before making any others, this will allow Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Hub Spot to give me the most update feedback on my Conversion Rate and my Organic Traffic.

Increase organic traffic to my private page by 15% over the next 3 months. The metrics we will track are search impressions and final touch points since I want the job recruiters to look at my resume.  I'll use Google Analytics to track my website traffic while I keep updating my web pages.

I wait to see what I get and see how I can improve.

Our primary SEO goal is to boost organic traffic to our website's main product page by 20% within the next six months. To achieve this, we'll track organic traffic, SERP position, and search impressions.

To reach this goal, we'll implement strategies such as optimizing on-page content with relevant keywords, improving website speed and user experience, building quality backlinks, and regularly updating and promoting fresh content through blog posts and social media channels. Additionally, we'll conduct regular SEO audits to identify and address any technical issues that may be hindering our search visibility.

Websites track how people use them to see what's working. It helps them get better! For me, that means getting even better at answering your questions in a super helpful way.

Here's how I can measure progress:

  • Getting the answer right: This means giving you the full picture and making sure my answer hits the mark.
  • Happy users: Hearing from you about how well I answer your questions lets me know I'm on the right track.
  • Understanding tricky questions: This is a work in progress, but I'm getting better at figuring out exactly what you're really trying to find out, even for tough questions.

How do I improve?

  • Learning from all sorts of stuff: I get trained on a ton of information, and that includes things like people asking really complex questions.
  • Figuring out what you need: The more you interact with me, the better I understand how to answer your questions in the way that helps you most.
  • Learning from your feedback: Let me know how I'm doing! Your feedback helps me get better at answering your questions in the future.

By focusing on these areas, I can become a super helpful resource for everyone who uses me!

I want to increase the number of webpages available for crawl on our website, in a way that we provide maximum information on product and service pages, provide helpful content for searchers and interlink the pages for increasing session time. The main goal is to increase organic traffic to aid our sales with B2B.

The company is going through a full rebrand, so we want the new site to convert more leads. To do this, we'll optimise keyword research, address the schema markup, and consider putting more focus on snippets when writing the new blogs. We'll use the various free Google analytics tools to track the results.

As my website is new will work on the fresh content, keyword research, optimize the Schema or rich snippets. Also optimize the on page SEO as well as Tech SEO and boost DA by getting high quality backlinks.
