SEO tip #1: Make sure your web designer is clued in to SEO as well. It's surprising how many aren't. Perhaps review their past projects before you engage them, and check out they've implemented Page Titles, Descriptions, and image optimisation.

SEO tip #2: Put yourself in your buyers' shoes and look at things from their perspective. Don't write about your business; rather, talk about the problems you solve for your customers. It puts a slightly different spin on things, and it also lends itself to good keywording opportunities. But, write for your audience first and foremost.
