By setting goals and putting numbers to those goals, you'll be able to figure out whether your SEO efforts are actually paying off. Many businesses will simply say, "We want to rank #1 for this keyword," but that isn't quite enough.
Keeping this in mind, what are the goals for your website?
Do you want to increase organic traffic?
Do you want to increase the number of leads from your website?
Do you want to design a mobile-friendly website?
Or is your goal something completely different?
Share your primary SEO goal in the comments below!

My SEO goals are to increase organic traffic to my website by 200% over the next 3 months, rank in the top 10 for at least 5 key industry-related keywords, and improve on-page SEO scores to 85% or higher using tools like Yoast or PageSpeed Insights. I aim to build 20+ high-quality backlinks through guest posts and local directories, enhance user engagement by reducing bounce rate below 50% and increasing average time on page to over 2 minutes, and boost conversions by tripling lead form submissions. Additionally, I plan to optimize my Google My Business profile and collect 15+ positive local reviews to strengthen my local SEO presence.
I would love to achieve each of these goals because for some of my projects it's just your organic for some it's mostly lead-based and for a lot it has to be mobile there's very few projects that you're okay with it not being mobile and is it just me or does that I'm not a robot thing never load I have to try to reply like a thousand times just to say one reply thank you all for your time
In the ever-advancing age of smartphones, getting searched anywhere else in the world means success — especially for content creators and writers. Hence, the primary goal I'd aim for is designing a mobile-friendly website. Secondary course would have myself becoming capable of increasing number of leads to my website.
To meet these goals, the search engine optimization tool must be engaging and user-eccentric. I believe that such knowledge would be acquired as I delve further into learning the fundamentals of SEO.
My main SEO goal right now is to boost organic traffic and get my content in front of the right people. I've been focusing on blog style posts and niche content which are mostly educational and book related and want to make sure it's actually reaching the audience it's meant for.
I'm also trying to make everything more mobile friendly and easier to navigate since most of my traffic comes from phones. It's less about ranking #1 and more about building steady growth.
