Won deals day-by-day increase

Hi there,

Sorry if this is a really basic question, but I'm trying to create a report that will show the cumulative totals of deals that are 'won', and how that has improved day-to-day.

I can get the cumulative total (deal probability = 1) but I'm having trouble trying to get it to compare the total today to what it was yesterday or last week. I'm not sure what I'm meant to be doing for the date field to get the totals to compare.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi @ATempleman,

As far as I know, you can't set comparison to the day before.

There's another type of report under Menu > Reports > Analytics Tools > Sales Analytics > Historical snapshots. Is this potentially something that's close to what you're looking for?

If not, then my initially proposed report would be the closest you can get to day-to-day tracking of new deals created.

Hi there - that doesn't give quite what I'm looking for.

Ideally I want to be able to change the +/- numbers under each KPI to show what it was yesterday, so we can chart a daily percentage increase. Or a bar chart that shows the total today, and then the total yesterday on the second bar.

My problem is that I'm not sure what to use for the 'compare by' field - nothing seems to fit to give me a simple count from yesterday to today. Thoughts?

These report settings should do the trick. (Menu > Reports > Reports > Create report > Single object > Deals)

(Adjust date range to your liking.)
