This is a technical analytics question from those using HubSpot as their CMS, website and landing page builder.
I plan to run some tests within website landing pages to increase the conversion rate from traffic to demo requests (form submissions). Our existing journey consists of one demo request page and multiple calls to action across the website leading to this page. From HubSpot's native landing page reporting, I cannot track form submissions on the landing page itself since there's no form on that page, although they drive traffic to the demo request one.
In that case, do you have any ideas on how I could track conversion rate increases on the landing page? I could still track performance improvement (i.e., bounce rate, time on page, etc.), but I'm still figuring out how to track conversion rate or show that improvements on the landing page led to higher conversion to demo requests.
The easiest fix would be adding our demo forms to all these landing pages. This way, I could quickly start tracking form submissions and page views to form submission rates from the HubSpot native landing page report.
I've been actually holding on to that since I have yet to cross around many examples from other websites in my industry. They usually have multiple calls to action on their product or solution landing pages that link to a demo request page with a form (precisely our current journey).
You could try with an integration like Hotjar, it helps you understand dropoffs and conversions, allowing you to see recordings of the visitors experience. Here's a link if you want to try it.
Hope it helps 🙂 Let me know if you have questions about this.
