Tracking code reporting back but not showing in report
Following the directions here, I've installed the tracking code. I've also verified it is present and is reporting back correctly with OK[200] response per directions here.
The report for today shows some activity for hubspot forms on the site, but the report does not show any activity for today for most of the domain.
The report is structured properly, with the only filter being the brand domain (and that is verified as correct).
I've disabled all add blockers, removed cookies, etc, but with no change.
Any other suggestions for what I should look into?
If you can tell us in detail about the report and tracking code data that you are getting back then we can help you in a better way. Please tell us these in detail so that we can help you here.
Tracking code reporting back but not showing in report
Hi @AThomas08! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊
I understand your traffic report is not displaying all the expected activity. Can you share a screenshot of the report you are using to evaluate the traffic?
Additionally, could you provide an example of a domain/page that should have had some activity, but did not register on the report?
This context will help us narrow down the next steps we can take to define the report discrepancies.

Here is a screenshot showing network activity for that page, verifing the tracking code is present and is reporting back correctly with OK[200] response per directions here:
...here's the analytics view being used in the first screenshot. As you can see, it is very simple with no filters except the brand domain:

Thanks for those screenshots @AThomas08! I notice the URL highlighted in the report screenshot does not exactly match the URL you are analyzing. Are you expecting to see some form submissions as well? If so, I do not see any forms on this page. Let me know if we are not aligned!

Sorry, but in what way? With a *brand domain* view filter, shouldn't only the domain name itself - as saved in the brand domain - matter?
If so, in this case it is retirementlc.com, which is consistent in all screenshots I posted... unless I missed something, which in that case please let me know!
Tracking code reporting back but not showing in report
Hey @AThomas08! I do see that your HubSpot report is filtered by brand domain. I am just verifying if there is tracking code installed on the exact URL rollovers-to-simple-iras. I am not familiar with how you set up the tracking code, so if it is firing on all pages of that brand domain, then that would clarify it.
Additionally, I am still not sure what form you are referring to. All of this information will help us better understand which pages you'd expect to see traffic and why they arent showing up on this report.

Tracking code reporting back but not showing in report
Kennedy, thank you for the reply. I understand now. Let me try to clear it up:
For the specific url https://retirementlc.com/resources/flexibility-of-sep-plan-contributions/, a tracking code is installed. However, it doesn't show up in the report. (I apologize that the report seems to focus on a different url, but the different url was not meant to be part of the picture. I think I was in a hurry and it happened to catch a popup as my mouse hovered over something as I was taking the screenshot.)
Since we're having a conversation with a lot of lag time, I'll also address the other specific questions:
> I am just verifying if there is tracking code installed on the exact URL rollovers-to-simple-iras.
Tracking code reporting back but not showing in report
Thanks for that context @AThomas08! Usually, this means that the canonical URL of the page doesn't match the actual URL, since traffic analytics displays the canonical URL. This Knowledge Base article walks you through managing your canonical URL settings. Could you verify the canonical URL for this page with some screenshots?

So this aligns with the error explanation that the canonical URL of the page doesn't match the actual URL, since traffic analytics displays the canonical URL.
For HubSpot pages, you can change the individual page's canonical URL as described in this Knowledge Base article. That said, since these pages are not built on HubSpot, you may need to go another route.
To our experts: @GRajput & @Humashankar have you come across this error due to a canonical URL before? If so, how would you approach it for a non-hubspot page?

To ensure accurate tracking, verify the following:
Firstly, confirm that the HubSpot tracking code is installed on both the actual URL and canonical URL. Without this code, page views won't be recorded.
Next, double-check the report's time frame to ensure it encompasses the period when the activity occurred. Incorrect time frames can result in missing data.
Furthermore, verify your Hub ID
Lastly, confirm that tracking URLs were created with correct parameters and properly formatted URLs.
By checking these key factors, you'll resolve common tracking issues and ensure accurate data in your HubSpot reports.

Ty for the quick reply. Based on the conversation up to this point, I'd say everything you've listed is done properly, except canonical URLs being wrong. Would you agree, or do you see anything else that is off?
Netlify does not offer an in-platform interface for modifying canonical URLs, as its primary focus is on hosting static websites with pre-built and deployed content. To update the canonical URL on a Netlify-hosted site, manual HTML code edits are necessary. Key considerations include:
HTML editing with the canonical tag's location varies by site structure and theme, typically within the <head> section.
CMS integration by utilizing a CMS with Netlify may provide a more natural canonical URL management interface.
