Tracking Website Visitors' Emails Without Form Submission or Email Click

SOLVE

Hi everyone,

We are currently using WordPress for our website and leveraging HubSpot for marketing and CRM. As we know, HubSpot can only identify visitors’ email addresses and other details if they submit a form or click an email link from a tracked email.

However, we are looking for alternative ways to track and identify website visitors without requiring a form submission or email click.

Our key questions

1. Are there any HubSpot-compatible plugins or third-party tools that can help track and identify visitors, especially their email addresses?

2 Since we plan to migrate to HubSpot CMS in the future, would there be any additional tracking capabilities available within HubSpot CMS that could help with visitor identification?

3 Has anyone successfully implemented a solution for visitor identification beyond HubSpot’s default tracking, while remaining compliant with privacy regulations?

Any insights, tools, or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Tracking Website Visitors' Emails Without Form Submission or Email Click

Hi @Anupa_Dayaratne,

I'm not aware of any solutions like this. Firstly, this would very likely be a violation of privacy regulations (as it's processing of personal data without prior consent). Secondly, the email address is not information shared with a website when a contact visits.
