Tracking URL doesn't show the results

Hello, colleagues,

 

I created on Thursday 19/9/24 URL tracking link and we started to use it. It works and if you click it - you are forwarded exactly to the website/ page we want to be forwarded, but no data about performance and sessions available. Today is already Monday 9/23/24. 

 

What can be the issue as there are not many fields that are mandatory to be filled in?

Hi @ISmolin,

 

Can i check that the page you built the custom tracking URL for is one of your own pages and not a 3rd party page? I.e You're not sending them away from your website? You need to have your HubSpot tracking url already embedded in the header code in order to track accurately, so that might be your first problem.

 

Second problem, people might be using incognito mode/declining tracking cookies which would mean they arent trackable.

 

And lastly, are you looking in the correct place in HubSpot for results? I'd go to Reports > Marketing Analytics > Web Traffic > UTM parameters and check there.

Hello there; thank you for your prompt response. I appreciate it. No, we want to track the link that forwards visitors to a 3rd party website. As we participate in voting, the point is to be sure that people do not just click the icons in Slack "done" but at least click the link to the voting page to vote. By the way. Nothing in the tutorials I watched on YouTube mentioned that it should be your website, but that is ok. I am learning now. Is there any option to track clicks on Tracking URL links that redirect people to the 3rd party website? So, we are sending people away from our website, and it's not about sending from our website. It's about giving them a voting link already from another website. 

 

Second problem makes sense and yes we can not impact it.

So, nothing about marketing. Can it be the case I am missing some licence or permissions? We do have Marketing Hub Professional plan. Is it enough and I am just nissing a seat assigend to me to have a markeitng dashboard?
