Track site language separately in GA4

SOLVE

Hi,

I'm stuck with the setting of GA4 report.
We use a language switcher on Hubspot, and I aim to receive data separately in GA4 for both English and Chinese so I can track data according to the site languages.

Despite searching in the community, I haven't found the answer I need. Could someone please assist? Thank you.

@CTing could you also segment your ga4 reporting based on the language slugs? If you had website.com for English and website.com/cn for Chinese you should be able to track these seperately.

Track site language separately in GA4

Hi @CTing, thank you for posting in our Community!

I understand your challenge, and tracking data separately for different site languages in GA4 is indeed important for accurate analysis. You can create custom events in GA4 for language switching (e.g., "Language Switched to English" and "Language Switched to Chinese"

I want to invite our top experts to this conversation @TomM2, @Ben_M @Josh any recommendations for @CTing?

Thank you,

Pam
