Segmenting Analytics by State

I would like to see the ability to filter results in more modules/reports for the dashboards.

For example, the ability to look at all of our sent emails/blog posts/social media campaigns/etc. and segment them by state would really help us drill down into specific territories. 

This would be for marketing analytics team, so they can constantly iterate on the best strategies and tactics. 

Ex: We can use that data to refine our PPC targeting - do people in one region prefer different topics/images/CTAs to people in another? Are emails about certain products more popular in different territories? 

We could also use this for data forenics - if a product is not selling in a certain territory, then we could see if the marketing collateral for that product is doing worse in that territory than average, and if so, try to change it. Or, if not, then that can help us point to other reasons.

If you have all the state data already you could create a list for each (which would be a lot of setup work but active lists would keep it up to date going forward) or filter your contact table by state but then you can't use filters for reports like you could lists. 

You could start with regions which would only be 5 or so to test it out before you make a list for every state/territory.

Yes, that the same advice that my support specialist gave me. 

However, that will not yield the report our leadership wants to see. What we are going to do is send an email 5 times to 5 different territories, then isolate the ones they want to see.

Unfortunately, we cannot cannot segment social clicks, landing page visits, form fills the same way. I have a few workarounds that help in segmenting, (separate social campaigns targeted to the territory going to separate LPs) but that doesn't help us prepare a holistic report or drill down to compare.

I don't have a workaround but I think it would be great to add it to the ideas section. It is a feature I would like to see as well.
