Seeing Users Click on Landing Page Links
SOLVEJul 27, 2018 12:28 PM
For landing pages, is there a way to see if visitors are clicking on certain links?
For example, I'm trying to get rid of the nav bar on this page in a redesign: https://go.affectiva.com/emotion-ai-summit
And I want to prove that no one is clicking on it.
Is this possible to show?

Hi @amcmanus
To show this kind of information in HubSpot you would need the event tracking feature that is included in HubSpot Marketing Enterprise.
However, you could create a free Hotjar account and put a heatmap on that page, and that would show you exactly where visitors are clicking and where not.
Hope this helps.

Q: Is there a way to see if visitors are clicking on certain links?
Short A: Sorta ... from Google Analytics.
Longer A:
Your GA Behavior Flow will also give you an indication of how much relative volume is flowing from that page to the nav click target pages. You won't see the actual 'click' volume unless you have setup tags on those elements, but at least you'll be able to quickly say, "See, no one's flowing from this page to the nav click target pages."
