Are there some mobile carriers who log an SMS click when a marketing SMS click is delivered? I noticed many contacts who have a click on the SMS but it's not being logged as a page view. Is there a criteria for how long a contact needs to view a page in order for HS to log a page view?
Hey @JSchneiderOH HubSpot can analyse sms sent from it's sms system through the sms performance tab, this data isn't fed or controlled by mobile carriers.
Once a user visits your site with the HubSpot tracking code a cookie is dropped on their browser, which tracks the page view. This happens immediately so you can see page views tracked in your page analytics within HubSpot.
The cookie can't be associated with a specific contact record until a form submission happens however. This basically sends the cookie to the contact record within HubSpot. If the visitor hasn't filled out a form on your browser there's no way for HubSpot to identify them and they are effectively an anonymous visitor.
Browser settings and software can also block cookies for a visitor, for example adblockers can often be set to block tracking cookies and tracking scripts, which will stop a page view being recorded for that visitor.

There is not a length of time that is required for a page visit to be recognized, but instead the first thing I would test is ensuring that your visitors are being recognized as existing contact records through cookies/ past conversions. For a cookie ID to be associated with a contact record, this would require that the contact had previously converted. We can find more about this here!
