I'm looking to build a Marketing report where we can see what our current state is measured against a set business target. Eg. We defined we should have X-amounts of leads in our database by the end of the year. So where are we today? And next week?
Options here are a bit limited but in the "old" single object report builder, for certain visulizations (line and area charts) you can add report goals:
In the new custom report builder, you can set a goals for bar charts as well, via Chart Settings:
You should then see this:
Hope this helps!

Any ideas why we might not have the monthly goal option in our HubSpot? I'm using a vertical bar chart with one single count displayed on a single custom object.
When creating a revenue goal report, keep in mind the following:
You can add sales goals to a report byadjusting the Display optionsin the report builder. Please make sure you are following these steps to see the Montly goal option:
The report must be a single-object deal reportthat includes a date property. The report must also use the Line or Area chart type.
Here are the steps to Create Sales goals and report on them.
Ah, well there's the problem – I'm not trying to create a DEAL report. I find it incredible that HubSpot thinks people don't want to track progress against targets for anything other than deals?! There's even a KPI report type in the new builder – by definition a KPI has a target, yet the KPI report shows only a value?? Again, more wacky holes in a product that we pay a lot of money for - super frustrating as always.

Report showing current state vs target
SOLVE
Hi @kaious I'm sorry for the confusion, it is not necessary to select the deal unless you are creating this type of report. Since is not the case, please disregard my last message and watch this short video where you will be able to see an example without choosing a deal.
