Report include dates that are NOT in the date range

Hi community 🙂

I am looking to create a report that is plotting the people who became Subscriber, per week.

I created a report from a template, then set the following:

1. Date property = "Became a subscriber date"
2. Date range = "Custom date range > 2022-01-01 to 2022-12-31"
3. Frequency = "Weekly"

However, the results are showing me contacts who became subscribers on 2020-11-02 (clearly out of the date range).

You can see the attached screenshots to see what I have so far.

Do you know what's going on? Did I do something wrong here?

You are plotting the data based on Contact Create Date rather than Became a Subscriber Date.

So from what I understand, the graph is on the "Contact Create Date" no matter the value I am setting in the "Date property", right?

The "Date property" is just for filtering, and in no case being used for plotting?

Hi @AlbinP 

Correct, in your screenshot, Became a subscriber date is being used to filter the contacts that appear in the report. 

However, you also need to add Became a subscriber date to the data as a Selected property in Properties, then use this as the main value in the visualisation.
