Report has Inaccurate number of Dealswith Associated Tickets

SOLVE

Hi Eveyone,

I was trying to find the number of tickets that have an associated deal attached to it (essencially serves as a KPI for my company's support team via monthy and quarterly periods).

I used the following method for reporting:

  1. Data Source Tickets (Primary) + Deals
  2. Row Property = Create Date (Quartery or Monthly)
  3. Values = Count of Deals
*No filters selected & set to "All Data"

The data comes out, but when I do a validation per monthy via excel (to check my work) I'm under by 5 tickets or more...
Excel check method is as follows:

  1. Export Data source: Tickets (Primary) + Deals
  2. Data View: Create Date, Ticket ID, Deal ID
(When the tables are joined it automatically relates the two just fine on the table it seems. I just deleted the "(No value)" in the Deal ID to prep for the next step.)
  3. Pivot Table:
Rows - Years, Quarters, Create Date
Values - Count of Deal ID

Hi @Howie50

Please do the following to get accurate reports.

1) Data Source Deal (Primary) + Ticket ( you can exchange between both the data sources)
2) Row Property = Create Date (Quarterly or Monthly)
3) Values = Count of Tickets
 4) Filter= Set Deal name is Known or Deal ID is known.

Thus this report will give the count of tickets which are associated with deals.

Also if you want to see the count of tickets on a particular deal, then use the following filters.
1) X-axis- Name of deal
2) Y-axis- Count of Tickets.
3) Filter- Ticket Id or Ticket name is known.

I hope it helps!
Thank you!
