Not sure if this is the right board or not.. we are attempting to use the Prospecting Tool for one of our brands, this brand has recently been moved to its own business unit and has therefore had a new tracking code added to the website. I have then tried to view the web visits through the prospecting tool and can't see how to change the business unit or tracking code it's looking at. Can someone help?
The old captured prospect information will not be removed, it'll stay. From the point on when you changed the tracking code, HubSpot should capture prospect information with the new tracking code.
I'd recommend waiting a few days to see the first information come in an confirm. If you feel like it's not working at all, I'd recommend reaching out to HubSpot support. Generally however, it's expected behavior that the old prospect information does not clear.
Best regards!

The prospect tool will only capture information from views on pages where the corresponding tracking code installed. For example, if you have the tracking code for portal 1234567 installed on website A and the code for portal 2345678 installed on website B, there isn't any way you can access the prospect informatoin from website A in portal 2345678. The two portals are separate and distinct and even though you can access both via one HubSpot login and switch between the portals, you can't migrate or access the prospect information.
If that's not what you're referring to, could you please correct me where I'm wrong or provide more context?
Best regards!

Hi, Sorry not sure I explained myself well or I may be misunderstanding, to clarify...
We have multiple websites all using the same tracking code and within one business unit. Very recently we have moved one of our brands and put them into their own business unit and they have a new (different) tracking code on their website (on every page), this replaces their old tracking code (still being used on the other websites).
The new tracking code has been live for well over a week and they have had traffic across the website and therefore i'd expect to see some prospect options within the tool. Unfortunately, I am not seeing an option to change the view within the tool to see one tracking code vs the other, it's still just showing me the old tracking code that's on the other websites.
