Is there an "Added to List Date" field that can be used for filtering a list?
SOLVE
I'm building a new list out of several existing lists from a campaign we're running. I only want to include leads from those lists that were added to them between September 1st and December 5th, 2023. The goal is to identify the number of leads that came in during this time period.
While I can see that there is an "Added to List Date" field in the list I'm creating, I'm not seeing it as an option when I try to filter the lists I'm pulling from.
Can I use the "Added to List Date" as a filter for each of these other lists, and if so, where can I locate it?
The 'Added to list date' can unfortunately not be used for lists, at least not that I know of.
If you want to identify the number of leads that came in during a time period, this would not be the most reliable way, as list filters can change. This could lead to wrong results. As a rule of thumb, lists should always be a result of filtering data points, membership in a list should never be a data point in itself.
For a better solution, I'd recommend looking at date properties that HubSpot automatically populates for new contacts or leads, the 'Create date' or the 'Became a lead date', depending on how you handle lifecycle stages.
Create date: the date that the contact was created in your HubSpot account.
Became a [lifecycle stage] date: the date that the contact's lifecycle stage changed to that stage. This is automatically set by HubSpot for each contact. The property will clear its value if a user manually updates the contact's lifecycle stage to a lesser value.
You can use these for a more reliable list building and can combine them with additional criteria (Original source for example).

There is no option for us to use the 'Added to List Date' but you can collect the timestamp on your own -
Add the contacts that get added to the list in a workflow -> enrollment criteria is 'is added to list' and then action sets the property value ''Added to List Date'' to the date of step 🙂

Hi!
We've got a similar issue, where contacts become members of a list when they're suitable to ask for a review based on an NPS score (imported from UserGuiding, not gained through Hubspot). The issue is, we've already used the list to request reviews in the past, and need to send an email to only the part of the list that's been added in the last month. We'd also prefer to keep the list dynamic instead of static.
To my knowledge, there's no other data point on the Hubspot platform that matches this exclusion criteria other than the 'added to list' date, as the NPS score is given after lifecycle stage date and contact creation date. Are there any new ideas for how this can be achieved?
Edit: Can I maybe pull an exclude list based on previous email CTA link clicks? Sharing idea in case that solution helps others.

@karstenkoehlerIs there a way to pull that field into a report? I have a team asking for only contacts who have hit a score threshold within the past week. I'd like to schedule a report export to them on Mondays to do this, but I don't seem to be able to call up this field. I'm hoping I don't have to report on the actual scoring activities...
