Hi there,

When hosting an image on HubSpot, are you able to get an analytics around impressions or clicks?

If not, are you able to customize the file url to include UTM parameters so that click metrics can be captured?

Hi @Kjohns01

You could turn your image into a CTA which would give you both views and clicks.

Have fun

Hi,

Can I ask what your use case is? Normally you don't want serve users photos as a link because it provides a bad user experience and could lead to URLs that lead to resources, thus reducing your crawl budget. Also, there are ways to track URLs in GA, but not with UTMs.

Hi David,

Thanks for responding. The use case would be using the image url as an email signature banner that is loaded through Front. See this document for a detailed explanation: https://help.front.com/t/k929q5/how-to-style-and-add-images-to-your-signature

Oh that makes a lot more sense lol

So when the user clicks on the image, it takes them to a link right? You would put the UTM with the link that the image is leading to.

Exactly! The image, ideally, would be clickable.

Ultimately, I wondering if Hubspot would deliver any metrics on the image itself (ie. impressions or clicks) to help me determine reach and engagement .

There isn't an easy way to get those metrics unless you really know what you're doing. If you want to go down the rabbit hole, you're going to want to do some research on "image tracking pixels".

But this isn't something they would have setup by default. Your best bet is to use UTM tags or you can use a service like MailTrack.
