Hubspot tracking code on Wix site not working. Wix cannot help with 3rd party issues

Hello all.

Creating a new post as the other one seems to have been solved. However, there was no real answer given on that, so here goes again with some more details.

I am having the same problem with the tracking code not working on my Wix site -- Musiversal.com. Added it successfully following the Hubspot help article - https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/reports/install-the-hubspot-tracking-code

It shows in the page source.

But, it is not working. Tested it using https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/reports/how-do-i-know-if-my-hubspot-tracking-code...

Is there something more anyone has found that we need to do to fix this? If this doesn't work, we have to abandon Hubspot as our marketing tool.

We reached out to Wix support. They confirm it has been added successfully to the site. But they cannot help with diagnosing why the code is not firing (acc to the troubleshooting article mentioned above). We are unable to see any chatbot or any tracking information in the Hubspot account.

Hubspot chat support said to ask the community. This bouncing around with Hubspot doesn't really fill us with confidence with the quality of their support or customer success process. If no one can help then it's goodbye Hubspot.

Hi @Musiversal,

When I visit your website, I am seeing HubSpot Chat and your HubSpot Cookie Acceptance notification. Are you seeing these on your end, just no recorded traffic?

I also see the tracking code...can you confirm that you have it set to load on each new page instead of load once?

I'm not a Wix pro by any means, but if I can help you diagnose this I will.

Have you tried using Google Tag Manager to install the HubSpot Tracking Code? If you are not familiar with it, Google Tag Manager is a kind of “container” for managing JavaScript and HTML tags used for tracking and analytics on websites. Here is a link to the Wix support article on GTM: https://support.wix.com/en/article/adding-your-google-tag-manager-account-id-to-your-wix-site. You will need to create a Google Tag Manager account first. Here is a HubSpot guide for this process: https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/google-tag-manager-guide. I hope this solves the problem.

We are having the same issue. We are able to activate the code but it slows down the website tremendously. 60-70% of the time the images do not load. I have contacted wixhelp on twitter regarding this but it has been just a long waiting game up to this point and it has already been three weeks. I had to disable to tracking code for the website to work properly finally!

I hope this informs on the situation a biot better
