How to freeze filters on a report on the dashboard?
SOLVE
Hi community,
I need your help. I am creating a dashboard with five reports. I want to add advanced filters (quick filters) to it, but I only want these filters to affect four out of the five reports. Is this possible? I would really appreciate having this option for advanced data representation.
I understand that, on a dashboard, you'd like to be able to only edit the quick filters of some of the reports, not all of the reports.
When looking at it for you, from what I can see on the article related to dashboard filters, these filters in the dashboard level, have been designed to be applied to all reports on the dashboard.
If you'd like to have some filters only on some reports, I'd recommend adding them on the reports themselves, even if I understand that it's not exactly what you were looking for. I am not aware of an option to "lock" the filters on the dashboard.
I'd like to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @danmoyle, @Dan1 and @GrantCarlile can you think of a workaround to help @IMilosevic, please?
Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂

+1 here @BérangèreL. In my experience @IMilosevic, the "dashboard filter" is for the entire dashboard. If you want specific report fiters, you'd create them at the report level.
Hope that helps!
