We would like to use Hubspot to collect leads from our forms (outside Hubspot, it's from our forms and landing pages).
Once the leads are on Hubspot, we will qualify them, null leads, qualified leads, opportunities ... We then want to transmit the information to Google Ads to retrieve offline conversions and optimize on qualified leads etc for our campaigns. (You tell me if this is not clear)
I've followed the documentation but it's pretty complex. I'm not sure where to start.
If I've understood correctly, the first option is to have the GCLID collected from a hidden field in my prospects' information on Hubspot, right? Is there a process to get this GCLID to Hubspot please?
Hi @Maeldan! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊
I understand you are collecting leads via non-HubSpot forms and landing pages. Are you using the non-HubSpot forms tool to sync these leads to HubSpot?
However they are syncing to HubSpot, and you have the goal of syncing that conversion information to Google Ads.
This Knowledge Base section walks you through creating HubSpot form submission ad conversion events, but in your case, we would be syncing non-HubSpot forms. I found this community thread that walks through a custom setup for offline conversions using a hidden GCLID.
Please let me know if I did not understand your questions!
I'd also like to invite @trevordjones, @NicoleSengers, and @Lucila-Andimol, to share any of their best practices when syncing offline conversion events from HubSpot to Google Ads. Thanks y'all!
Best, Kennedy
