Funnel of lifecycle stages "as of today"

SOLVE

I want to be able to view, in a funnel, how many contacts we have in each lifecycle stage as of today. I don't see a way to do that. It's all aggregate results or saying how many contacts have become x stage today, but nothing about "as of" today.

Funnel of lifecycle stages "as of today"

SOLVE

Hi @edachs,

If you're on a Professional subscription, you can easily create this report. Navigate to Menu > Reports > Reports > Create report > Single object > Contacts.

In the Visualization tab, drag and drop Lifecycle stage and Count of contacts into the Displaying area.

Under Filters, set the Create date range to all time.

That's it already. You're looking at the total contacts per lifecycle stage in your CRM.

(If you want to see this as a funnel with conversion rates, that's not possible. A funnel shows a contact at differents times, having passed through various stages in the past. It's a contradiction to a snapshot of the now.)

Without a Professional subscription, this is not possible. The simplest workaround would be to create lists that filter for each Lifecycle stage and then check the count of those lists.

Best regards!

Funnel of lifecycle stages "as of today"

SOLVE

Hi Karsten,

We have a professional subscription. I am looking to add company owner into the SQL report along with the date that the company became at lifeccle stage SQL. Is that possible?

Thanks

I appreciate your response!

That still seems to show the number of contacts who have ever been in each lifecycle stage, rather than the number of contacts who are in each stage right now.

Reports of the individual stages show accurate numbers, but when trying to make the funnel, it shows that inflated, inaccurate number. See my attached screenshot to see the difference in numbers.

Hi @edachs,

It doesn't look like you followed my instructions. Could you maybe go back and review my first reply?

It is not possible to create a funnel report that shows the count of contacts in each stage today. It wouldn't be a funnel report. A funnel with conversion rates implies that there is a time component to it. For a funnel report to be a funnel report, a contact must show up under multiple lifecycle stages if they have been in multiple stages.

The alternative would be the report I described in my previous reply.
