Email/CRM hygiene - recent emails not sent (unsub/marketing contact status/bounce)
Hello! One main question and a couple of related ones below...
1. I would like to create an email/CRM hygiene dashboard that includes a report (table) showing contacts that have been sent email that wasn't delivered, either because they unsubscribed, their marketing contact status is off, or they've bounced. (And maybe even separate reports for each of those use cases.) Is there a way to do this in the reporting tools? Something like:
Contact
Email name
Undelivered reason
Last undelivered date
John Smith
20240404 Announcement
Hard bounce
Thursday, April 4, 2024
Jane Smith
20240403 Promo
Not a marketing contact
Thursday, April 3, 2024
2. Ideally, I'd also like to create a workflow that triggers internal (or email) notifications when one (or more) of those cases happen so we can triage if needed.
3. Currently, I have a workflow that alerts me of unsubscribes and the last email they received. One pain point that's happened in the past is that a user who has unsubscribed will then sign themselves up for something down the road, and just because of the way HubSpot treats unsubs the user doesn't automatically get opted back even though the workflow has a "set as marketing contact" step. Is there a way to create a workflow to alert for someone who has opted into email after manually unsubscribing, so we can then manually resubscribe them and put them back into the email series they requested?
I hope that makes sense — I tried Google/the community first but couldn't seem to find solutions.
1. Once you are on the marketing email itself, have you checked the "recipients tab"? From there, you should be able to click on the right hand side of the page, then "List actions" and then "create a list" or "export recipients list" that might help!
2. I found this similar post "Bounce workflow." with a solution from @karstenkoehler where Karsten mentions that you could use a list for that.
3. Do you want to have a trigger on w aorkflow based on contacts who opt out? Or a workflow that allows you to opt them in (after they opted out)? Or both?
