Does hubspot track utm codes from google campaign url builder?

 The default channel grouping in google analytics is creating an 'Other' category based on our hubspot tracking urls. This is throwing off our numbers since some of the 'Other' sources are actually a default grouping (ie. email, referral, social).

We thought one way around this was by using google campaign url builder. However, we are not finding the hubspot is tracking those links.

Any tips? Do you have a best practice to ensure our sources are mapping properly to google analytics?

Hi! If you're using the URL tracking template in HubSpot it should track those in both HubSpot and in Google Analytics, but you might still see it being grouped under (other) in Google Analytics. 

To get around that, you can edit your default channel groupings in Google Analytics (in admin) and you should be all set!

Other wau to get around this is selecting Other campaigns in your Hubspot UTM builder. This allows you to create custom source and medium and you can tag things according to GA convention. 

Unfortunately hubspot follows their own classification which makes it hard to merge the data
