Discrepancies between the contact list and the analytics report
SOLVE
I was analyzing the funnel from MQL to customers based on a free trial list I created. The report shows that there are 342 contacts marked as MQLs, but the list contains only 294.
I noticed some discrepancies such as:
Contact X is an MQL in the report but an SQL in the list
Contact Y is an MQL in the report but a customer in the list
Your funnel report is automatically filtering for contacts that entered the MQL lifecycle stage in the specified date range. If you want to compare this to a list, the list filter would have to be Date entered "Marketing Qualified Lead (Lifecycle stage pipeline)" = the date range from your funnel report.
If your list is filtering for Lifecycle stage, the discrepancy arises from two things:
Contacts in your funnel report might not be a MQL anymore but moved on (the 342 means that these contacts were at some point an MQL but are not necessarily anymore)
Contacts in your funnel report are filtered by the date of entering the MQL stage

@SBattuello I can't see the exact filters you're applying in your second screenshot. Can you please click 'Advanced filters' and share which filters exactly are applied?

@SBattuello as you can see in the right sidebar, your filtered view applies a filter for lifecycle stage = marketing qualified lead. The funnel report does not.
(There is an additional list filter but I assume that's applied to your funnel report as well.)
In other words, your filtered view only shows current MQLs that were generated this year.
Your funnel report shows contacts who became a MQL this year but might now be in another lifecycle stage.
