Does anyone have a solution to excluding workflow enrollments from influenced contacts after they have included the workflow in the campaign?
I realise now that including our email workflows on the campaigns was a mistake. Why 'enrolled into a worklflow' is considered an influenced criteria is a different conversation (I don't agree that it should be).
So in future, I won't add the workflow to the campaigns, but for now, is there a way to 'clear' the influence? I know I can create a copy cmapaign and move all the other assets over, but as these are running campaigns, the existing data won't follow.
I don't believe that there's a way to just clear this status from a record. Even if you create a new campaign you will may lose some of the reporting as data is not retroactively pulled in.
What data is included in campaigns or campaign analytics?
Campaigns gather data after association with marketing assets and content. Campaign performance data is not retroactively pulled into campaigns and will not be taken into account in the Overview report on the campaign's performance or the campaign analytics tool. However, these metrics can still display in the individual asset's data within the Performance tab.
For example, if you associate a marketing asset to a campaign after it was released, the data prior to the association will not be present in the campaign's Overview report in the Performance tab, but may appear in the data for individual assets below. - pulled from: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/campaigns/campaigns-faq
