Hi, I've been asked by SLT to create a report which shows the total pipeline (revenue / deal value) vs. what's in closed won.
So far I have a report which shows the value in every deal stage. However, I want to show the total value of the pre-closed stages in one column (Appointment scheduled, further engagement needed, qualified to buy proposal writing, active decision making) and then closed won in another column.
The goal is to compare everything that's been opened by value in the past 365 days, vs. what's closed. Is this possible?
Navigate to the "Reports" section in your HubSpot account.
Click on "Create a custom report" to start building a new report.
In the report builder, add the necessary filters to include deals within the past 365 days. You can use the "Create date" or "Close date" property and set the filter to the appropriate date range.
Add the following columns to your report:
Deal Name: This will display the names of the deals.
Deal Stage: This will show the current stage of each deal.
Amount: This will display the deal's revenue or deal value.
Created Date: This will show when the deal was created.
Apply the filters to display deals in the specific stages you mentioned: Appointment scheduled, further engagement needed, qualified to buy proposal writing, active decision making.
Group the report by "Deal Stage" to consolidate the values of deals in each stage.
Sum the "Amount" column for each group to calculate the total value in the pre-closed stages.
Add a summary row at the bottom of the report to display the total value for the pre-closed stages.
To compare with the closed-won value, add a filter to show only deals in the "Closed Won" stage.
Sum the "Amount" column for the "Closed Won" stage to calculate the total value of closed deals.
You can add another summary row to display the total value for closed-won deals.
Hope this helps! Thank you @kvlschaefer for mentioning me 🙂

Hi @Franci Franci, thanks for getting back to me. I have got stuck at stages 6 & 7. I don't seem to have the option to Group the report by deal stage or sum the amount. I've done a quick google and can't see how to do this. Can you help?
