We're currently moving away from Pardot to HubSpot and are looking to recreate some features so as to not interrupt the workflows of the sales team still in Salesforce.
We had a Daily Prospect Report that was emailed automatically to the each sales agent that detailed activities from their customers over the past 24 hours. This included stuff like the name, company, email, and then activities including form submissions, email clicks, page visits, etc.
Is there a way to recrate this in HubSpot? And it has to be automated. We can't realiably seek out the activities of our entire contact base.
Hi @RYLeigh, depending on the format, I'm not sure if you can apples to apples recreate this. If you look at the reporting library and customize the "Activity of recently created contacts" report, I think you can get close!
Thanks, Karsten! The dashboard creation and recurring email send is all taken care of. However, I'm having issues creating the reports I need to make this dashboard useful to my sales team. From what I could assess, the ones in the library weren't useful for my needs, and I'm not seeing a way to create custom reports on the data I need. But I am new to HubSpot reporting so I understand I may be missing things. Can you assist?
I need to report
-pages viewed by contact
-forms submitted by contact
-email clicks by contact
filtered by contact owner (so that they only get the activity of their own contacts) and time set to the past 24 hours (so they get a daily digest of contact activity.)
Essentially I'm trying to create a daily breakdown of what their contacts have been up to so that the sales team knows who to target about what.
This information is all available in HubSpot in other locations, but I'm trying to find a way to deliver it all at once, and so that they don't have to go hunting for it on a contact by contact basis.

Thanks so much for this suggestion. Unfortunately, a lot of our business comes from longer standing relationships rather than just recently created contacts, so this wouldn't work. By reporting on just new contacts, we'd be missing out on contacts that either 1) we've worked with multiple times before and are coming back to us again or 2) that have been in our database for a while, but have checked us out recently. Sales funnels can stretch on for ages in this industry...
Hi @RYLeigh - that's not a problem! This is the name of the report template in HubSpot. You can customize it and change the filters on the create date. It doesn't have to be for recently created. 🙂
Hi there! I'm so sorry, I had to step away from this project, but I've circled back. Your suggestion worked! It's not exactly the same, but serves much the same purpose. I appreciate your out of the box thinking on this. The team is very grateful! 🙂
