To check the checkbox and put in the GTM ID has been no issue. But when i go thru the second part of the article, settings > website> pages> choosen domain, i cant add in the HTML since there are no sections to add it in to.

Hey @ENlin , if you insert the ID in the check box you are connecting with GTM and it's done, the way inserting the code in the <head> and <body> is the second option and no is necessary if you make the first step.
You could check the connection with GTM through the chrome extension Tag Assistant, so when you go to the web page active the extension and this going to show the pixels are in the page.
If you don't see the <head> and <body> in Hubspot, maybe is because your user doesn't have access to show this so need changes the settings.

Okay! Forget about my question about ID. The latest article i sent was correct, only missing an underscore: _ in the code for the eventcategory..! So now everything is working 😄

Hey there, Where are you checking the event fired on Analytics or Preview on GTM? Because if you check this in Analytics only see the events in reports > realtime, the next day will show the events fired. The best way is to use the preview mode on GTM and check the chat process to see the events or tags fired.
Also, the article shows the events on Analytics Universal, and this version is going to close the next year, so trying use GA4.

Hi again!
I am checking it in the Tag Assistans in GTM, and it senses that hubspot is there with the articles code inplementation. But the action "start chat" is not getting fired when i press the button or type in a message and send.
Do you think that if i add it as a GA4 event it will get fired? Or do you mean beacuse of the changes it would be prefered to do it with GA4? 🙂

Hi, if you create the event with ID of the button or click ID maybe you can record every "start chat" like event, and yes at this moment is better to work on GA4, you don't have to setting this again in the future. ✌️
