Basic email reports

I'm having an incredibly tough time with Hubspot's reporting tool. There is so much basic functionality that seems to be missing. It's an on-going problem for us, and yes, we also use Databox. 

Anyways, the current report I was trying to create is simple: marketing email opens. I want a chart or line graphic that shows how many marketing emails were opened each month. Additionally, I was trying to create a chart or graph that shows total email clicks each month. 

I've tried using the custom report builder but am just not getting it. 

Can anyone offer any help?

Hi @JohnathanMcFarl 

If you go to Marketing->Email and then click the analyze tab you will get the email open data you are looking for (or Reports->analytics tools->marketing email analytics)...just not where you want to see it right?

However, on that report, you should hopefully see a message about a new email report Beta that you can try, which looks like this:

In that report, scroll down to the Performance Over Time widget, click that dropdown, select opened.  Now at the top of this report click Save as Report and choose to add a widget to your new or existing Reporting Dashboard.

You should get a widget like this:

I know it's been several months since your posted reply, but do you know if this beta to add a reporting widget to reports is closed? Or did it become an integrated HubSpot feature?

I'm looking to add some individual marketing email reporting to dashboards for my company (ideally breaking dashboards down by product), but I don't see a way to send some of this prefashioned reporting to a dashboard.

Any insight is much appreaciated!
