Attribution Tracking For New Contact When Created In iframe

Hi all,

Our client has developed a custom form solution, where a potential customer can make use of a calculator to generate a quotation.

In this form, a webhook is sent to HubSpot which creates a contact and deal record. 

The problem we encounter is that we want to have complete attribution tracking of the contact, but do not know how this can be configured using the HubSpot tracking code. The tracking code on the main website tracks the relevant attribution information, but the form in the Iframe does not have access to this data when creating the contact.

Is there a way we can make this work? We are thinking that the Iframe can submit an event to the HubSpot tracking code when the form is submitted, but I cannot find the relevant documentation to set this up.

What solution are you using for your calculator? Is it capable of capturing hidden fields like utm parameters?

The calculator is developed by another party which is engaged in this process, so we can  capture all kinds of fields.
