What to do when your books are behind - haven't been reconciled in years - you have not filed a tax return, since you are not sure.

Your bookkeeper quit on you, maybe during covid or before, you thought you could keep up with your business and the books, but now you find out that you are falling further behind.

And rather than do anything about it, you just feel more guilty each day, feeling like you have fallen short.  You feel you are doing the best you can, but it is never enough.

You want to grow your business, but the banker needs your P&L, you are not sure what that is.  Your bookkeeper, use to ask for items from you, but they have not given up.  You don't hear from them anymore.  You have no idea how your business is doing, you are not sure what to do to change things.  

You brought your book keeping company file (is that what they call it?)  to your CPA/Accountant.  She looked at it and said "huh no".  It is so far behind, you are still using QB Pro 2013?
